Host a Rain Barrel Lesson
We need Good Creek Neighbors to get the word out on their blocks, at their end of the streets.
Just host a short gathering at your home or business to discuss the importance of rain barrels and how easy it is to install them. We'll show you how.
We can have rain barrels on hand to sell on the spot or you can order for later pick-up.

Contact us at rainbarrels@spacreek.org to volunteer or for more information..

Be a Good Creek Neighbor. Help us save the creek one rain barrel at a time!
Already have a barrel?
Here's how to install it.
What a year 2007 has been!
The Conservancy! We teamed up with Annapolis Yacht Club and with Heritage Baptist Church to do good things for Spa Creek. We cleaned up, we planted, we removed invasive species, and we had fun! Also, we planted over 100 trees and shrubs and the Weems-Whalen fields.
We also had terrific help from the US Naval Academy in the form of the Leadership, Ethics and Law Department's Summer of Service Program. Every Turesday for 12 weeks over 100 midshipmen used their muscles and their good humor to clean out literally tons of trash that was polluting the Creek's headwaters.
In addition we held rain barrel lessons and sold barrels that will harvest and slow storm water runoff going into the Creek and we held the annual Spa Creek Wade-In.
- Whew!
